As the 65th Annual Meeting came to a close, I looked forward to my transition into the role of President.  At that time, I could not have imagined all of the transitions that 2020 would bring.  During this time of change and uncertainty the Michigan Association of Blood Banks will continue to provide the educational and networking resources that we have become accustomed to.

This year we will have our 66th Annual Meeting. It will also be our first virtual meeting.  The move to virtual meetings provides increased opportunity for statewide participation in our events.  Please consider becoming a member of the MABB and joining a committee.

I am honored to serve as the President of the MABB, one of the oldest and most prestigious blood banking associations.  I look forward to finishing the year with you and commit to working with the Board and members as we fulfill our mission to promote the highest standard of care for patients and donors.
